A Chuckery Primary School Day 

Our Gates pen at 8:30am every morning ready for the school day to begin at 8:45am every day.  All external doors will be closed and the gates locked at 8:55am when we expect all of our children to be in class ready for registration and parents to be off our school site.

All children have a 45 minute dinner break. For our Nursery 30 hour children to Year 3 this is between 11:45am and 12:30pm. For children in Years 4-6 this is between 12:30pm and 1:15pm

The school day finishes at 3:15pm each day for all of our classes .

In line with Government expectations, all children are expected to be in school for 6:5 hours per day (or 32.5 hours per week) for 190 days in each academic year.

Nursery

The morning session runs from 8:45am until 11:45am

The afternoon session runs from 12:15pm until 3:15pm

For our 30 hour children , the day begins at 8.45 and finishes at 3.15 each day. 

Extra Curricular Clubs 

If your child attends any of our extra curricular activities, these will begin at 3.20 and will finish at 4.30. Your child will be collected from their classroom by the clubs teacher at the start of the session.All children attending need to be collected from the front office at 4.30 by a named adult over the age of 18 at the end of their session.
