A Chuckery Primary School Day 

Our school day begins at 8:45am every day.  All classroom doors are closed and the gates locked at 8:55am when we expect all of our children to be in class ready for registration. To help ensure that your children are in class on time , our school gates are opened from 8.30. 

All children have a 45 minute dinner break. For our Nursery 30 hour children to Year 3 this is between 11:45am and 12:30pm. For children in Years 4-6 this is between 12:30pm and 1:15pm

The school day finishes at 3:15pm each day for all of our classes .

In line with Government expectations, all children are expected to be in school for 6:5 hours per day (or 32.5 hours per week) for 190 days in each academic year.

Lunchtimes

For our Early Years up to Year 3 , the children's lunchtime is between 11.45-12.30 

For Years 4,5 and 6 , lunchtime starts at 12.30 until 1.15 

Extra Curricular Clubs 

If your child attends any of our extra curricular activities, these will begin at 3.20 and will finish at 4.30. Your child will be collected from their classroom by the clubs teacher at the start of the session. All children attending need to be collected from the front office at 4.30 by a named adult over the age of 18 at the end of their session.
