#proud
Welcome to The Land of Oz, our Specialist Resource Provision (SRP), supporting children from EYFS to KS2 who have communication and interaction needs. We provide an inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Our team delivers specialist teaching and targeted interventions while also providing the children with opportunities to access mainstream education. We have a two 8 place Specialist Resource Provision for children of primary age who have a primary area of need of Communication and Interaction. All of our children have an EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) and are placed by Walsall council, not by the school.

Why are we called 'The Land of Oz'?
Oz represents a place of belonging, growth and discovering strengths that already exist within each child, inspired by The Wizard of Oz. In the story, characters learn that intelligence, kindness and courage were always part of them – reflecting our belief that every pupil has unique abilities and potential to be proud of. This name also links to our whole-school ethos, where our house point system is based on imaginative fantasy lands such as Neverland and the Hundred Acre Wood, creating a shared, inclusive world that celebrates difference, creativity, and individuality. Together, these themes reinforce our commitment to a school community where every child feels proud, valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.
