Spring mini-adventure: Unicef - There are natural disasters happening all over the world all the time. What is a natural disaster and who is there to help? Children learnt about Unicef and decided to raise money for charity by putting on a bake sale.

Autumn mini-adventure - The digestive system: Children were challenged to tell the story of what happens to a Milky Way bar when you eat it.
Autumn mini-adventure : Food - The school canteen were looking to freshen up their menu choices. Year 4 were asked if they could help. Children learnt about different religious foods and also made their own soup out of seasonal ingredients.
Autumn mini-adventure : Egypt - The Lego company have produced a short film about the discovery of Tutankhamen. However, at the moment it is a silent movie. Children were challenged with writing the story to go with it but first they would need to find out who Tutankhamen was and when he was alive.
